Vinyl graphics have been around for many years as a functional and relatively cheap way to decorate cars, trucks, windows and virtually any other smooth surface. When contemplating whether to place a vinyl decal or design on a surface you own, there are many useful points to know about beforehand.

Misconceptions
Vinyl graphics are not stickers, bumper stickers or temporary tattoos for walls and cars. They generally have to be bought from a sign shop. Because they are made of vinyl, they have to be made and cut out using a special tools / machines. Those found in department stores are generally not true vinyl graphics.
